Mark joined Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 1990 after graduating from Northwood University with a major in marketing and management. He was appointed Field Director of the Saginaw office in 1993 and became Managing Director of The Wilshire Financial Group in 2000. He looks forward to continuing to build the strongest financial service team in the Saginaw Valley.

If you were to ask Mark’s group, what’s one of Mark’s strong suits, they would say he is an excellent mentor.  Mark is the type of person who wants to share his knowledge with his group. He hosts meetings two mornings each week with his group to ensure they are receiving the proper support and help they need to succeed.   

Mark takes pride in providing the proper knowledge and tools for his FRs to be successful. Mark Hardy not only has the ability to be a great teacher, but learns from his FRs' experiences as well.  He knows that working together is the only way to achieve positive growth. 

Mark has distinguished himself as a successful Financial Representative by earning the professional distinctions of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living.

Mark Hardy is a board member of the Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council and a former board member of the Saginaw chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

His current professional memberships include The Society of Financial Service Professionals and General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA) International.

Mark enjoys being active in the community and serves on various organizations in the Bay City area. These organizations are:

Mark is a lifetime resident of Bay City, Michigan, and resides there with his wife, Kathy, and their three daughters, Madeline, Emily and Brittany. When Mark is not mentoring or devoting his time to his community, he enjoys golf, racquetball, fly-fishing and wine collecting.
